Howdy, Flavia! Thanks for moseying on over to planDisney with your question. I’d be happy to round up some helpful info for you! It sounds like you’ve got a rootin’-tootin’ trip planned real soon!
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is one of my favorite places to visit. Nestled on 750 acres of pine and cypress forest, it’s like stepping back into the American frontier of years past.
Now, let’s rustle up the details about visiting the
Chip ‘n’ Dale Campfire Sing-A-Long. Technically, this activity is reserved for Guests staying at Fort Wilderness. However, during less busy times of the year, exceptions might be made if you have friends or family staying there. In that case, they’d need to check with the front desk to confirm.
If you’re not staying at Fort Wilderness and don’t have a dining reservation there, you won’t be able to park at the resort. But don’t worry...there are still ways to get there! One option is to take a bus from your resort to Disney Springs and then transfer to a Fort Wilderness bus. Another, more convenient option, is to book a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app. While there’s a fee, it’s a quick and more direct way to get there.
Speaking of dining, you might want to consider booking a meal at the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (subject to availability). This dinner show is held three times nightly (4:00 PM, 6:15 PM, and 8:30 PM) at Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness. It’s famous for its all-you-care-to-enjoy fried chicken, BBQ ribs, and strawberry shortcake, served up with a side of laughs. If you choose this option, you’ll be able to park at Fort Wilderness with your dining reservation. Just let the friendly folks at security know when you arrive. They may ask to see your reservation on the My Disney Experience app or your MagicBand. From the parking area, you’ll hop on a motor coach to Pioneer Hall. Standard self-parking is complimentary for Guests with confirmed dining reservations.
Lastly, if you’re looking for an activity more conveniently located to where you'll be staying,
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort offers a
campfire from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on select days (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday). Guests can roast marshmallows for free or purchase a s’mores kit if they’d like to add a little extra magic to the experience.
I hope this helps you have a good time, Flavia! If you have any more questions, feel free to holler. And just so you know, we also have panelists who can answer questions in
Portuguese if that would be helpful for you in the future.
See ya real soon,
Eean
