Where do I go to set up a meet and greet with the characters

    Salutations, Sharon.

Welcome to planDisney! In less than two months, you’ll be standing right in the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey Pretzel in hand and Cinderella Castle in the distance. I bet your excitement is bursting at the seams!

I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things to do on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to meet as many of my favorite Disney pals as possible. I’m so glad Character Experiences have returned to normal and cannot wait to give Mickey the biggest hug the next time I’m “home.” It sounds like you are looking forward to these magical character interactions too. Luckily, there are a couple of options for meeting Disney characters on your trip.

Character Dining experiences, where you can meet a Disney character or two while enjoying a delicious meal, are offered at several restaurants on property (Chef Mickey’s, Garden Grill Restaurant, Hollywood & Vine, Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, and Tusker House Restaurant). You can search for a dining reservation at these restaurants through your My Disney Experience Mobile App. Just click the plus sign at the bottom of the screen and choose “Check Dining Availability” from the options.

Character Experiences can be found throughout all four theme parks, though the options of who you can meet may vary each day. The easiest way to find available meet-and-greets near you is through the interactive map feature in your My Disney Experience Mobile App. Click the drop-down menu at the top of the map and choose “Characters” from the options. This will display a list of who you can meet, and if you click on their name, it will tell you when and where you can meet them.

Have you thought about purchasing Memory Maker for your trip? It allows unlimited downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos, which means you would be able to look back on those special memories from all your character greetings time and time again.

I hope this information is helpful, Sharon. Please stop by planDisney again if we can help answer more questions for you. Have a magical trip!

Tomorrow is just a dream away,
