Hi there, Karin! Welcome back to planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve taken the opportunity to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
It looks as though you are just a few short weeks away from your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you haven’t already done so, it may be helpful to check out the
“Know Before You Go” webpage prior to your trip. This webpage contains the most up-to-date information regarding modified experiences and policy changes that may be important to keep in mind!
The
Disney Skyliner is an innovative way of traveling at Walt Disney World Resort! Guests will board aerial gondolas that will take them high in the sky as they make their way towards either
Epcot or
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Disney Skyliner currently connects these two theme parks with select Disney Resort hotels including Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. You will be treated to some amazing views during your trip in addition to receiving a fast, convenient ride to your destination!
Guests are not required to go through
security prior to boarding the Disney Skyliner. However, you will need to do so once you’ve arrived at either Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With this in mind, it is important to factor in the time it may take to complete your security check into any plans you may be making!
To reduce the time you spend going through security, you can also choose to not carry a bag with you into the parks! This works well for my family whenever we are doing short visits that will only last a few hours. This is also made possible by using our
MagicBands that allow us to pack lighter by wearing our theme park admission and purchasing powers right on our wrists!
I hope you have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
