Can I go to a restaurant in one park but go to the another park on the same day for all the other fun without a parkhopper pass?

You'll need a admission ticket anytime you want to enter a park, even if it's only to go to a restaurant. In order to enter two parks in one day, for any reason, you would need to have a Park Hopper ticket. Situations like this are the reason that my family always buys the Park Hopper add-on for our admission tickets.

Have a great visit to WDW!
