If we go to the Polynesian Resort to watch the water parade, will we be required to pay for parking? We are not staying at a Disney resort.

Hello there, Darlene! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and ask your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my absolute favorite Disney Resort hotels and with good reason! It's charming South Pacific vibe is perfectly relaxing, the dining locations offer a variety of delicious dishes, and it is just a few minutes away from the Magic Kingdom! In addition, you can also catch one of the most classic entertainment offerings right from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the Electrical Water Pageant. This adorable musical parade floats across the waters of Bay Lake and enchants all those that watch with it's stirring display of music and lights!

You will be happy to hear that Guests visiting any Disney Resort hotel may receive complimentary standard parking! Simply let the security guard at the front gate know your plans of exploring the resort and you will be allowed entry into the standard self-parking lot. I will warn you, though, that visiting Guests may be turned away if the parking lot is full so be sure to plan for an alternative parking location if this occurs!

Best of luck continuing to plan for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I hope you and your family have an absolutely magical time!
