Go Philly's! What resort area has the best pool area for a 4yr old boy and a 18mon old girl. We plan on spending atleast one day just lying around the pool during our vacation. Thank you. Fellow Jersey Girl.

Hi, Kristen! (or I could say "Yo, Kristen, since we speak the same language!)

There are so many awesome pools at Walt Disney World, but I think one of the best for young children is at the Caribbean Beach Resort.  There is an awesome pirate ship play area, with two small water slides perfect for the four year old, and even the 18 month old would be able to play there with Mom and have a blast.  There is a bucket at the top that fills with water, and it periodically pours down over the pirate ship, which my four year old LOVES.  The pool here is also a zero entry pool, which I like.  I think it's safer to have them go in just like you would down the shore as opposed to having them use steps to enter.

The Coronado Springs Resort has another great pool area for kids.  With a "dig site" for kids to play in and a trickling water fall down the pyramid centerpiece, this pool also wins rave reviews from my littler girls.

If you are looking for a deluxe resort with a phenomenal pool, try Disney's Yacht and Beach Club.  The pool here, called Stormalong Bay, is a three acre area with everything you could want!  You have sand in the bottom of the pool, water slides, a slow current to float in an inner tube on, and a great play area for kids.  This is probably, hands down, the most popular pool area at Walt Disney World.  You can book at either the Yacht or Beach Club and use the whole pool area - and it is different from either side!

Have a great vacation, and thanks so much for your question! Go Phillies!
