    We would like to go to mass at one of the Catholic Churches in the area. But we used disney transportation as we are staying on property. How do we get to mass? Thanks!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I highly recommend you visit the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe. The mission of this parish is to minister and serve the Catholic families visiting the many attractions of Central Florida. This beautiful basilica is just a few miles from the Walt Disney World Resort and offers daily Mass, as well as a Saturday evening Vigil Mass, and four Sunday Masses. You may even want to leave yourself extra time to walk the beautiful grounds or admire the sacred art collection.

    Transportation to the basilica would be on your own, as there aren’t currently shuttles offered by the basilica. Your best bet would be to hire a taxi or use Uber or Lyft. If you will be needing car seats for children, Uber offers what it calls uberFAMILY in the Orlando area that includes a car seat. You can even use the Uber website in advance to get a fare estimate from your resort to the basilica so you know what to expect.
