We want to go to Magic Kingdom in the morning then Hollywood Studios in the afternoon evening. Is there a bus or other transportation from Magic Kingdom to Hollywood Studios? How long should we plan to spend traveling?

    Hi Heather,

You'll find that complimentary resort transportation makes getting around the entire Walt Disney World Resort really simple! I'm happy to let you know that yes, there is a bus that will head directly to Disney's Hollywood Studios from Magic Kingdom Park. When you leave Magic Kingdom Park, you'll simply head off to the left where all of the buses are and find the one for Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The bus ride between the two parks will only take about 10-15 minutes in normal traffic conditions, but I'd also factor in some time in case you have to wait for the bus to arrive. Buses generally arrive every 20 minutes, so you shouldn't have to wait too long. Don't forget, too, that once you arrive, you'll need to go through security and ticketing again. If you have an advanced dining reservation or a specific time you need to be at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I'd be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to travel.

Are you ready for some big time fun for kids of all ages? The all new Toy Story Land will be open at Disney's Hollywood Studios when you visit, so definitely be sure to check that out and enjoy feeling like a toy in Andy's backyard! Toy Story Mania! has always been one of my family's favorite attractions and we're really looking forward to experiencing Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers in this brand new, fun land!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heather, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning for your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
