Very Merry Christmas to you, Brenden!
It is great to see you again here at planDisney. I’m happy to learn that you are planning your jolly holiday vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort! It is my most favorite time of the year to visit. There is nothing quite like standing on Main Street, U.S.A. while watching nighttime fireworks over Cinderella Castle, especially among festive Christmas decorations!
While your arrival date at The Most Magical Place on Earth coincides with the typical start date of
Magic Kingdom Park's special ticketed
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, if you should happen to visit on a night when the party isn’t occurring, the regularly scheduled
nighttime fireworks show will be offered (subject to weather or other conditions) rather than Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, which is one of the special party offerings. You will be happy to know that beginning April 3, 2023, the incredibly popular
Happily Ever After fireworks extravaganza returns to Magic Kingdom, and you won’t be disappointed!
Now, I do see that the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort page asks you to check back later for details regarding the specific offerings that will be available in 2023. In the meantime, I can tell you that Christmas magic is in the air and everywhere, including every
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, all four theme parks, and
Disney Springs beginning in early November. So, keep an eye out on the Walt Disney World website and the
Disney Parks Blog since they will be the first to share yuletide updates.
Brenden, you’ll be seeing Christmas lights on Main Street, U.S.A. before you know it! While you are planning your holiday adventure, I hope you will
come back by and allow me to assist you with any questions you may have!
Wishing you many merry and magical memories,
Shannon
