Hiya Melanie,
Welcome back to planDisney. It looks like you will be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort at the absolute perfect time of the year! The theme parks and
Disney Resorts Collection will be all decked out for the holidays and there will be even more magic in the air (and maybe a little snow). Be sure to plan a visit to the beautiful gingerbread house at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The house and magnificent tree make for a perfect holiday photo and an added bonus is the chance to purchase some delicious gingerbread treats as the perfect gift for those back home.
Now to tackle your question.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticket event that occurs on select evenings from early November through late December. On party days, the Magic Kingdom will close to its daytime Guests at 6pm EST while Guests who have purchased a party admission ticket will be able to enjoy the theme park until midnight. One of the great things about the party, is there are a limited number of tickets sold, so party-goers are typically able to enjoy Magic Kingdom with shorter wait times and lighter crowds. Good news though - even if you will not be staying for the party, you will still be able to enjoy dinner at your favorite Magic Kingdom table restaurant. Guests will be able to make an
advanced dining reservation, based on availability, all the way up to 6pm and you will still be able to take your time and enjoy your dinner even if that stretches in to the start of the party. Once you are finished, the Cast Members will help escort you to the front of the park and out the turnstiles.
I hope this helps with your planning and you are able to grab all your wish list dining reservations. If I can help with any additional planning questions, please
stop back and see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
