Can you go to the Grand Floridan and only order a dessert at a table service restaurant? Interested in ordering a chocolate slipper dessert, but not ordering a dinner. If not possible, could we order one to go? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Jacalyn!

Oh gosh, the desserts at Walt Disney World are just decadent, aren't they?  I get such angst when I have to  choose from the many flavors of fudge at the Main Street Confectionary, or the yummy variety of baked goods at the Boardwalk Bakery.

Should you wish to make a dining reservation at one of Walt Disney Worlds popular restaurants, and solely have coffee and dessert, you are more than welcome to do so.  Guests dining are not mandated to have to purchase a full meal, you can choose to have appetizers (which we have done), or delectable desserts (which we've also done).  Being that you will be at the Grand Floridian, my suggestion is to head to Citricos and enjoy the Warm Chocolate-Banana Torte with Vanilla Ice Cream and Handcrafted Belgium
Couverture Chocolate Crown, or the Creme Brulee Duo at Narcoossee's.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
