Hi Donna, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I’d be happy to chat about those special bricks at Magic Kingdom and the Transportation & Ticket Center, representing countless pixie-dusted memories!
Disney’s Walk Around the World bricks were such a cool way to be a part of the Most Magical Place on Earth. But after welcoming millions of visitors over the years,
the pavers were retired in 2019. Back when they were removed, you could buy a replica brick through
DisneyStore.com or in person at
Tomorrowland Launch Depot in
Magic Kingdom or
D-Tech on Demand at
Disney Springs. While they’re not currently available to purchase online, earlier this year, I saw the option to buy a 6” or 8” replica brick from the customization kiosks at Tomorrowland Launch Depot. These offerings often change, but I’d recommend stopping by the store the next time you’re at Magic Kingdom to see if you can have one made. Perhaps after racing across the Grid on
TRON!
While it can be sad to say goodbye to the things we love at Disney World, there are so many exciting changes coming to Magic Kingdom! This summer, the new
Disney Starlight nighttime parade debuted with its sparkling floats and dancers lighting up the park. And construction has started for two exciting new areas at Magic Kingdom—
Piston Peak National Park and
a whole land inspired by Disney villains! Keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest developments.
I’m wishing you and your ‘ohana many magical memories at Disney World! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
