Should we go to Epcot first at 9:00 am or to the Sports hotel, check-in, drop off bags then hop bus to Epcot. Was thinking Epcot first, then when my child needs a break drive to hotel then check in.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle! In just a few short weeks you will be enjoying a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! I’m so excited for you!

I like the way you think. I think it’s a great idea to visit Epcot before checking in to your Disney Resort hotel. My family and I always have to take a break from our adventures at the theme parks midday, for our youngest daughter’s nap time. The best part is, you will get to use one of your many benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel guest, before you set foot in your room!

You can absolutely go to Epcot and enjoy the benefit of complimentary parking. All you have to do is let the Cast Member parking attendant know that you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, tap your MagicBand to a sensor, and you can be on your way!

Michelle, Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts will be in full-swing during the dates of your stay. The complimentary art workshops for all ages, delicious bites available at the outdoor kitchens and the beautiful weather, have made this festival a fast favorite for my family.

Thanks for stopping by with your planning question. Feel free to visit us again with any other questions that may come up. Helping you with the details of your next magical vacation is our pleasure!
