Hi there, Kevin, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with this awesome question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You'll be arriving in just a couple of short days - how exciting!
Kevin, though I'm not fully sure which type of stroller you have, the first thing we need to do is consult the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. When it comes to strollers, here are the guidelines about what's prohibited: "Strollers that are greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length. Stroller wagons are also prohibited." Further, it states: "Bicycles are permitted only in designated Disney Resort areas." My planDisney pal
Kaitlyn reached out to a helpful Cast Member who let her know that, even without pedals, it might still be considered a bicycle. Ultimately, this will be at the discretion of the Cast Members at park entry.
I'm the kind of person who would rather be safe than sorry, so in this case, I would advise you to either
rent a stroller at the Disney Theme Parks or use an approved outside stroller rental service. When you rent a stroller at the park, you will pick it up when you arrive and drop it off before you exit. They push like a dream and have plenty of space for your little one to relax.
My family also likes to rent a stroller through ScooterBug, which can deliver your stroller to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel before you arrive, so that it's waiting for you when you walk into your home away from home. I like having a stroller to use around our Resort, and I appreciate the opportunity to pack my stroller the night before heading to a Disney Theme Park, so I know I'm not forgetting anything. The fact that I can use a rain cover for the stroller gives me peace of mind that my little ones and our belongings will stay dry if it starts to rain.
Kevin, I hope this is helpful to you as you finish packing your suitcases! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have.
See ya real soon!
