    Want to go to disney world august 15-19.Boys are 14 and 18 and for his graduation gift this is what he wants to do:) he won the stay in the castle in 2007. We want to stay on site but not one of the resorts that is so far off. Bus wait was seemed too long

    Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Kimberly! A trip to Walt Disney World sounds like the perfect graduation gift for your son! How exciting that he won a stay in Cinderella Castle in 2007!  I completely understand wanting to choose a Resort that is centrally located to all of the parks at Disney. I would recommend staying in the Epcot Resort Area along beautiful Crescent Lake at either Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort or Disney's Boardwalk Inn. I have stayed at all three of these Disney Deluxe Resorts and being able to walk to Epcot and take the Friendship Ferry (water taxi) to Disney's Hollywood Studios is just one of the many things I love about this area!  If your boys enjoy swimming, then I would personally choose the Beach or Yacht Club Resort for the amazing Stormalong Bay, an expansive sand-bottomed pool that features a lazy circular river and the "Shipwreck," one of the highest hotel waterslides at Walt Disney World. My family also enjoys having so many dining possibilities at our fingertips when staying at the Epcot Resort Area with easy access into the World Showcase of Epcot via the International Gateway where many of our favorite restaurants await!  DIsney's Boardwalk Area is a family favorite at night for entertainment and dining options, watching street performers and more. Many teenagers enjoy dining at ESPN Club on the Boardwalk. Another "not to miss" experience is ordering the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop located at Disney's Beach Club Resort.
