Can you come and go from Disney without paying for parking a second time

Welcome to planDisney, Verlynn. Thank you for reaching out with your question. I’m happy to help you plan your next visit!

I have great news! As long as you have your receipt, you can exit any of the Disneyland Resort parking areas and return later the same day without needing to pay again. You’re welcome to come and go as needed, just be sure to keep your receipt or parking ticket handy to show when re-entering. If you’re unsure whether you have the right documentation, feel free to double-check with a Cast Member before you leave. They’ll be happy to help confirm everything you need.

Since you’ll be visiting this fall, you’re arriving right as the Halloween magic begins! Starting August 22, the Disneyland Resort transforms into a festive wonderland filled with autumn charm and just the right amount of mischief. From the seasonal decorations lining Main Street, U.S.A. to the spine-tingling ride overlays, there’s something spooky and spectacular around every corner. In Cars Land, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree gets a haunted makeover as Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, where the ghostly hoedown is full of playful frights and toe-tappin’ tunes. Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters joins in the fun too, turning into Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween with quirky dance moves and monster-themed music. And for those who love a thrill, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark adds a whole new level of eerie excitement as Rocket races to rescue Groot from the chaos inside the Collector’s Tower.

And if you’re looking to make your visit even more unforgettable, I can’t recommend Oogie Boogie Bash highly enough. Held on select nights in August, September, and October, this special after-hours party in Disney California Adventure is full of frightfully delightful extras, like immersive treat trails, villain encounters, dazzling Halloween entertainment, and spellbinding surprises lurking at every turn. My wife and I attend each year and always come home grinning like a couple of candy-crazed kids. Tickets are already on sale, and some dates are still available. However, they go fast, so don’t wait too long if you’re hoping to attend!

I hope these tips help you plan a visit full of magic and mischief, Verlynn! If you have any more questions, feel free to stop by planDisney again anytime.

Wishing you pumpkins full of treats and just the right amount of tricks!
