Ahoy, Amanda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Sailing out of New York City past the stunning skyline and Lady Liberty was one of many highlights from the
Disney Magic cruise I took a few years ago. And what was even better was waking up early the last morning to be up on deck to watch the captain navigate the ship back into port with the skyscrapers all lit up and the sunrise in the distance. It was just breathtaking!
Even if the weather is chilly on your sailing, the
pools, slides and hot tubs will be open! The water is heated once the outside temperature drops below 75 degrees. My kids never to seem to let the outside temperature bother them; they may just need a few extra towels to wrap up afterwards!
There are lots of experiences to enjoy on a Disney Cruise especially in the fall because of the themed Halloween on the High Seas sailings. Spooktacular fun such as trick-or-treating, crafts, parties have been offered in the past and that's not all! There are also first-run movies,
Broadway-style shows, games shows, variety acts,
Pirate Night festivities and the incredible youth programming just to name a few. Disney Cruise Line has also announced an opportunity to enjoy a special themed
Marvel Day at Sea on select New York sailings in 2017, which sounds like a unique experience for any super hero fans onboard.
Amanda, thank you for sailing by with your question! Please let us know if we can help you further with your cruise plans.
