How do you go about arranging for lunch and dinner for your kids at the kids' clubs (Oceaneer and/or Edge), on the Disney Cruises? Do you have to let them know ahead of time, or do they just show up during the scheduled meal times in the clubs?

You're back, Pam! Thanks for another great question!

The kids in the Edge can come and go as they please, so they can simply decide to go to eat at the buffet or one of the quick service spots with friends whenever they please.

As for the younger set, there is no need to pre-arrange dinner for the kids if you'd like them to eat in the Oceaneer's Club or Lab. As long as your kids are in the Club or Lab about fifteen minutes before the scheduled meal time, the counselors will have food for them. There have been a few times that my kids have been there, and I didn't plan for them to stay and eat, but my husband or I got caught up with another event that ran late and by the time we got to the Club or Lab to get the kids, they were happily eating with their friends. No one will go hungry, I promise!

I love that Disney just takes care of all of the details!

Keep me updated on your plans and further questions, Pam!
