Hi Kyle,
I am so excited that you plan to visit
Disney's Yacht Club Resort on your upcoming trip. I stayed at this resort recently and loved the convenient location, amenities, and restaurants. My favorite thing about this resort was grabbing breakfast at the
Ale & Compass Restaurant before heading to the docks for a quick water taxi ride to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. The breakfast buffet here was delicious and one of the best breakfast buffets on Disney property. Since you asked about linking reservations, not food, I will get straight to helping you set everything up for your upcoming trip.
You can
link any reservation with a confirmation number to your MyDisney account! I find that the easiest way to manage reservations is through the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device. I feel much more comfortable handling all of my plans here because then I will know how to easily navigate them in the theme parks or at my resort hotel since I will likely be using my mobile device then. To link resort hotel reservations in the
My Disney Experience app, click the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner of your app. Scroll down until you see "Hotel Reservations" and then add your confirmation numbers there to link them to your account.
You can add both reservations directly to your account or you can have the main responsible party member staying in the 2nd room add one of them to their MyDisney account. Each member of your travel party will need to have a My Disney Experience account or profile. Younger members of your travel group may only need to have a profile that is managed by one of the adults. All of your profiles can be linked by navigating to the "My Family & Friends list" either on the website or in your app and selecting "Add a Guest." Make sure you add everyone that you are traveling with so you don't miss a single plan or photo. As long as you are connected in " My Family & Friends," you will be able to see all of each other's plans, make payments on resort reservations, and utilize Genie+ together.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
