Hi, we are gluten, wheat and dairy free, can we still use the dining plan? There are 5 of us in our party.

    Dear Lynn,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your terrific question about planning for the Disney Dining Plan!

The great news is that Walt Disney World Resort chefs really bend over backward to ensure that each and every guest can be comfortably (and deliciously!) accommodated when it comes to special diets, allergies, and preferences. Dining locations can provide you with gluten-free menus, which will also have indicators if they meet your other needs as well. If you are unable to find a menu choice that works for you at a Table-Service location, in most cases you will be able to speak to the chef who can direct you to a substitution or modification that will enable your family to eat successfully and maintain your dietary needs.

At Counter-Service locations, of course the options are more limited, but you can absolutely look at ingredient lists and find options that will work for you.

Since you have multiple family members in your party with special dietary needs, you should reach out to special.diets@disneyworld.com at least 14 days in advance of your travel. You can discuss your exact needs with them at that time.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
