Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cynthia!
My family and I had the chance to visit
Disney’s Riviera Resort this weekend, and it is amazing! The decor, ambiance, activities and food are all top notch. Just wait until you see the hand-laid tile mosaics and the Activity Lawn! My husband and daughter had a blast playing on the giant chess board and bocce ball court while I relaxed in a swing and read a good book.
We also sampled some of the fare from
Primo Piatto--the Quick Service restaurant located on the ground floor. I did notice that they had several gluten-free options on their menu, but unfortunately I did not have an opportunity to check out the options at
Bar Riva. I can tell you that Walt Disney World Resort chefs have been working hard to ensure that both gluten-free and plant-based options are available on all menus at each
Walt Disney World Resort hotel and
Theme Park. Menu options are always subject to change without notice, though, so I would recommend asking about the gluten-free options when you arrive. Since Disney's Riviera Resort and its menus are both so new, there is a chance that they will continue to be modified in the coming months. In the meantime, keep checking the menus on the
My Disney Experience mobile app to see what your options may be. In my experience, we’ve always been able to ask for modifications to existing menu items, and if the chefs have the ingredients available, they’ve always been able to accommodate our requests.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Cynthia. We’re always happy to help.
