Hi Lauren! I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question!
Celebration at the Top – Sip, Savor, Sparkle is one of the most magical ways to end a Disney day, and I’m happy to share what I know to help you feel confident and excited.
My sister-in-law actually attended this event just last week and absolutely loved it! It’s held in the beautiful Sonoma and Napa Rooms at
California Grill, located on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Think of it as an all-you-care-to-enjoy cocktail party with incredible food, an open bar, and a private fireworks viewing from the observation deck. Truly a night to remember!
While the menu can vary, the event typically includes a buffet of sushi (like salmon and chive rolls, vegetable rolls, and California rolls), small plates such as pork belly sliders and grilled seafood canapés, and a lovely dessert spread after the fireworks. Many items can be made gluten-free upon request. For example, sliders can be served without buns or with gluten-free bread, and gluten-free soy sauce (tamari) is often available for sushi. Disney chefs are fantastic about accommodating special diets, and in many cases, they’ll prepare separate items just for you, including dessert!
When you arrive, you’ll have the opportunity to speak with a chef or a Cast Member trained in special diets to go over your needs. I also recommend noting your gluten-free request when booking through the
My Disney Experience app, and then letting your server or a manager know when you check in.
Based on what my sister-in-law experienced and Disney’s strong track record with allergy-friendly dining, you likely won’t need to eat ahead of time. The variety and quantity of food really do add up to a full dinner. She said guests began lining up at the check-in area at least 30 minutes before the event started, so arriving a little early is a great way to grab a prime table.
Wishing you an incredible evening filled with sparkling views and delicious bites, Lauren!
Warmly,
Eean
