Magical greetings, Sharon, and welcome to planDisney! Your trip is getting so close, and I bet you can practically hear the sound of the horns blowing on the
FriendShip Boats. Just a few more weeks, and you'll hear them for real. Thanks for bringing your transportation question to us. I'm happy to help you figure out how to get your gluten-free beignets.
Parking at a
Disney Resort hotel is restricted to Guests with a current hotel, experience or dining reservation at that hotel. Since you aren't able to make a reservation at
Scat Cat's Club, you may be turned away if you try to drive and park. What I recommend from the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is to either walk or take those FriendShip Boats I mentioned earlier to
Disney's Hollywood Studios and then catch the
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter bus to get your beignets. Just be aware of the hours of operation for Hollywood Studios so you can make your way back.
Since it sounds like you like sugar-coated gluten-free treats, I want you to know about the house-made gluten-free churros served at
Nomad Lounge inside
Disney's Animal Kingdom. They are made fresh to order and come with seasonal dipping sauces. I'm not a gluten-free girlie, and I still declare them to be the best churros I've ever had in my life. If anyone in your party likes cocktails, try the Tempting Tigress. As always, check with your server before ordering to confirm the safety of your selections.
Sharon, I hope you enjoy your gluten-free beignets and that the rest of your trip is just as magical. If you have any other questions, please visit us again here at planDisney.
Grab hold of your dreams!
Melanie
