Can you give me any tips on how to get my child chosen for the Jedi training?

    Hi Rebecca,

The Jedi Training Academy was a great daily addition to Hollywood Studios and has quickly become a favorite of many young Jedis.

Although there is no guarantee that your child will be selected, there are a few tips to help increase his chances. The first is to arrive early. The kids are typically selected early and from the front of the crowd, so the earlier you arrive and wait near the front center of the stage, the better chance he will have. Next, be excited! The trainers love working with kids that are having fun and are excited to be there. Have your child show his enthusiasm, jump around and wave his hand. It also helps to have on Star Wars clothing or even their own props like a light saber-after all it shows your Star Wars interest if you are wearing a I love Darth Vader outfit.

DIsney Mom Kara and her son created a great how to video on the Moms Panel site to help with some of these tips. You can view the video by going here and selecting the Jedi Training Academy video along the bottom of the page. Just remember, if your child is not selected, the academy is offered a number of times throughout the day. Pick another show and try all over again.

May the force be with you!
