Hi Kamran! We here at planDisney would love to help you maximize the time you spend, the fun you have, and the magic you feel at
Walt Disney World Resort!
Young or old, your three children are sure to have a marvelous time staying at one of the over 25
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, dining with their favorite character pals, and, of course, seeing, doing and RIDING everything they want to in the four Theme Parks!
As a mom of three who grew up visiting Walt Disney World almost annually, I highly suggest staying on Disney property in one of their Resorts. The Resorts are really a magical extension of the Theme Parks with unique theming, incredible pools and water play areas, and character dining experiences. Plus, you'll be as close as possible to the Parks, be able to use
Disney's complimentary transportation options (which are attractions within themselves!), and enjoy other pixie-dusted benefits like
Early Theme Park Entry.
With more than 40 square miles of Resort to explore you probably won't be able to see
everything, but five days sounds like a perfect trip to me. You'll have to decide if you'd like to visit one Theme Park per day with a
Standard Theme Park Ticket or whether you'd like the ability to visit more than one Park a day with the
Park Hopper Option. I think if you're first-time visitors and don't plan on heading back to your Resort for a nap or swim midday, Standard Tickets will allow you time to visit each Park at least once. With your last vacation day, you can either pop back into whichever Park was your favorite or have a "Rest & Resort Day" where you swim, dine, and catch all the interesting entertainment and shopping at
Disney Springs!
60 days before your vacation you'll be able to start making
Advance Dining Reservations for your table service meals and
Character Dining Experiences. If you want to get up close and personal with the "Fab Five" you might want to look into dinner at
Chef Mickey's or breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera.
Finally, make sure to save a few nights to watch the skies (and your children's eyes) light up at the spectacular nighttime fireworks. Both
Disney Enchantment in
Magic Kingdom and
Harmonious in
EPCOT will leave you wishing you never had to head back home.
As you continue planning, please come back and see us again with any other questions! Have a magical stay!
