I have 2 girls, 8 and 9 but the 8yrold is small. What excursions would be good to do in Jamaica and Grand Caymn. They love to swim and I want to try ziplines but I’m afraid the 8yrold will get stuck because she only weights 45lbs

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa!

It's time to pull up anchor and start sailing towards your magical getaway next month.  You are so close to your high seas adventure with Captain Minnie!

My family visited Grand Cayman and Jamaica when my own princess was seven years old.  Both stops offer great Port Adventures for your entire family.  Let's find you some experiences that combine a little time in the sand and surf along with some adventure!

You can swim, snorkel and get close to nature in Grand Cayman by booking the North Sound Mangrove Cruise and Star Fish Point, the Adventure to the Stingray City Sandbar or the White House Beach Getaway.  All three of these Port Adventures give you the opportunity to spend some time in the water while taking in the natural beauty and sea life that surround the island.  If you are looking for something that offers a little adrenaline, the Cayman Dolphin Extreme Swim can get your heart pumping with a once in a lifetime opportunity!

In Jamaica, the most talked about Port Adventures visit Dunn's River Falls.  There are many different options that include climbing this famous waterfall.  We conquered this climb as a family with my seven year old daughter and it was a blast!  I will admit I was nervous during certain parts of the climb, but if your girls are daring warrior princesses like Mulan, they should have no problem making the journey.

The Dunn's River Ultimate Adventure offers a guided climb up the waterfall as well as zipline adventure or hike through suspended bridges in the treetops.  This may be a good option for you to zipline while offering an alternative for your daughter to hike the bridges if she is unable to safely navigate the ziplines.

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you have as you plan your adventure!

    Bon voyage!  Angie
