When my girls where young, we had season passes and went weekly. Several times we where chosen to be in the parade, doing simple dancing.... Now it is time to take my granddaughters to the park. Do they still chose people to walk in the parades

    Hello Ronald,

Your adventure is awaiting you at the Disneyland Resort once again. Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Your daughters must have the most magical memories growing up in the Disneyland Resort! How exciting to start a new tradition by bringing your granddaughters to The Happiest Place on Earth.

As far as the parade participation goes, that is actually completely random. Cast Members will still choose a family out of the crowd or one walking down Main Street, U.S.A. to participate.

To add a little pixie dust to their visit, you could stop by Guest Services and get them a free ‘I’m Celebrating’ button to wear during their visit.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted time on your next visit. If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
