I have a girls trip planned and have a res for dinner during MNSSHP at BOG. Should I keep the res or cancel it? I have been for breakfast and was not impressed but my friend has never been to Disney before. dinner is hard to reserve but during the party

Decisions, decisions, Ciara! I agree, this is a tough one! I've experienced both, and I'd be happy to give you my thoughts.

I remember scoring a dinner reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant, and you would have thought I won the lottery! It is indeed one of the most popular restaurants on property. Last yEAR, they changed over to a Prix Fixe menu, and it now requires two Table Service credits for those Guests on the Disney Dining Plan. I've heard very positive reviews about this menu change, and that the cuisine has been elevated to reflect its Signature status. If you truly want to impress your friend, this is Disney immersion at it's best!  I personally like to eat in the West Wing, where shredded drapery hangs from the rafters, and the tapestries on the wall are torn by the Beast's angry claws. I also enjoy watching the enchanted rose drop its petals.

All this being said, I absolutely love Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! Guests with tickets to this event can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM on party nights. If you can make your dinner reservation for 5:00 PM or earlier, then I say do both. If you dine any later, you'll miss out on the evening's frightfully fun festivities. My favorite is Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade, and if you're able to stay up late, I'd recommend the second one which usually starts at 11:15 PM. Also, there is a brand new Halloween fireworks spectacular this yEAR, that's not to be missed! Lastly, make sure to track down a PhotoPass Photographer to capture some spooky Magic Shots- the Headless Horseman one would be BOO-tiful!

It sounds like you've planned an awesome girls' trip, Ciara! If you need any more help, we're all EARs!
