My girls plan to do BBB early in our trip. I'm considering the DTD location upon our arrival so they will be ready to meet princesses on our 1st day in the parks. I've heard the buns last a few days. Is this true? And what are the hours for each location?

Hello, Angela! Disney's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a wonderful experience for children ages 3-12. A Fairy Godmother-in-Training transforms little girls into glamorous princesses and boys into dashing knights. It's a really exciting experience for Mom, too. It's so fun to watch the whole process, especially the big reveal!

My daughter's bun lasted for three days before it needed to be taken down. The bun was secure, but the hair gel started to look caked-on. My daughter was also very careful to not get her hair wet, which I'm sure helped it to stay in place. You may find that your daughters' buns last longer (or shorter) depending upon a number of factors.

If you'd like for your daughters to maintain their magical makeovers, there are a few things that you can do:
    • Watch the Fairy Godmother-in-Training to see how she styles the hair. You may be able to replicate the hairstyle on your own -- just make sure to have a small bottle of hair gel, elastics and bobby pins, and a smoothing comb handy.
    • The girls will each be able to bring home the makeup that is used during their transformation. You can use the same colors or mix things up on subsequent days of your vacation.
    • Bring along an additional princess dress (or two!) so that your daughters can transform into other princesses during your vacation.
I just spoke with a Cast Member to confirm that the current hours of operation for both locations are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, with the final reservations concluding by 7 p.m. Holiday hours can be different, so it is important to check for available times when you call to make your reservation. I recommend making reservations 180 days in advance of your visit by calling (407) WDW-STYLE or (407) 939-7895.

If you have any additional questions about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Angela!
