Can girls still dress up as Cinderella

    Hiya Linda,

Welcome to planDisney. Oh boy! It looks like you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort at the perfect time. Not only will you be able to take part in The World's Most Magical Celebration, you will also be able to enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This event is underway now through mid November and will take you and your taste buds on a journey across six continents. You can snack and sip your way around the World Showcase and with so many delicious options to choose from, you may want to plan an entire day just nibbling your way around the world. Be sure to come hungry!

Now, if I can wipe the drool off my keyboard after thinking of all that delicious food, let's tackle your great question. Great news - yes, girls can still dress up as Cinderella or any other Princess they would like. There are just a few costume guidelines that will need to be followed. Guests ages 13 and under can dress as any of their favorite characters as long as the costume is safe and appropriate. If your Princess is over the age of 13, she will still be able to sparkle in her Cinderella gown, but only while attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This special ticket event, that occurs on select evenings, at Magic Kingdom encourages Guests of all ages to join the festivities and dress as their inner Princess, Villain or furry Disney pal. Just make sure you read the official costume guidelines for the party before packing your favorite costume. One of my family's favorite things to do is select a Disney theme for our party costume. We like to think we gave The Incredibles a pretty good run for their money in the hero department -wishful thinking I am sure!

If you are looking for a special treat for your Princess, don't forget, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom is re-opening in just a couple of weeks. Your little Princess can be treated to a royal transformation by her very own Fairy Godmother Apprentice. Advanced reservations for this experience is a must.

I hope this information helps add even more magic to your time together. If I can help with any additional planning questions, please stop back and see me

    With pixie dust,
