Hello! I have a 14 yo, a 13 yo (girls), and a 7 yo boy. Do you have any advice on youth clubs? Are they really strict on age limits? For example, could my 13 yo go to the oceaneer club to be with her brother? Thanks for everything you do! You're amazing!

    Ahoy Dana!
Thank you so much for the Moms Panel love!  It is truly my pleasure to spread pixie dust on fellow cruisers like you!
Personally, my children have had wonderful experiences participating in the youth programming onboard.  In fact, my two like to "shut down" the club/lab each evening and are always disappointed when they have to say goodbye to the amazing youth counselors at the end of sailings.  I also have a seven yr old son and he decided to skip our character breakfast on our last cruise because he didn't want to miss out on any fun in the club!  On our next sailing, my daughter is excited to move up the Edge!  My teen nephews have cruised twice on Disney Cruise Line and really enjoyed Edge and Vibe and made friends the first evening and stayed connected even after returning home!
I'm glad you asked the question about your 13 yr old daughter moving down to the Oceaneer Club/Lab because being informed about youth programming policies is important. Unfortunately, the youth counselors do not let older children move down. There is sometimes flexibility with children moving up who are within a few months of their birthday.  Your older two can both enjoy Edge together if they would like.
There are times the Oceaneer Club/Lab opens up for any age Guest.  These opportunities will be marked "Open House" in the daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator.  Planned programming as well as free exploration is available to those who show up with a parent/guardian during these hours.
One tip I would like to suggest is bringing along a highlighter so you can use it to mark the activities you and your kids don't want to miss in the newsletter.  I carry mine along with me each day and refer to it often!
I'm sure you have other questions, Dana!  Please keep me posted so I can continue to assist you with your plans for a magical voyage!
