My girls will be 2 1/2 and almost 4 when we go in Dec 2009. I'm nervous about how they will handle table service meals - Le Cellier, Yak and Yetti, etc - are there crayons or anything to entertain the kids while they wait through the meals?

There are coloring pages and crayons available at virtually every Disney table service restaurant. However many of the restaurants only have one or two colors on hand and just coloring can get old quickly. When my girls were preschoolers, I always had ziploc bags stocked with table time diversions that I brought with us on vacation. I usually had several bags, one for each day of travel, that way the fun stayed fresh. Here is a sample of some of the diversions we brought:

Sticker books (Dover is a great brand of self-contained, pocket-sized sticker books)
    Silly putty
    Mini Etch-A-Sketch or Magna Doodle
Box of paperclips for stringing into necklaces (make sure you're past the "in the mouth" stage)
A magnetic princess dress-up kit, came in a small tin box
    Wooly Willy (Google it)
    A small top
Post cards (decorate it and send it to Grandma)
    Barrel of Monkeys
And in a pinch ... a favorite Disney movie on mom's iPod

You get the idea. The items don't have to be large or expensive , just novel to the child.

For more ideas, go to the new feature on the Moms Panel website "New Videos for Moms, by Moms." Panelist Heather R and her couldn't-be-cuter daughter Annie star in a video called traveling with small children. She shares some of her great tips on traveling with preschool kids.

    Have a great trip!
