i have 2 girls ages 5 and 8, first time to WDW. The 5 yo does not like princesses (a tomboy), the 8 yo USED to love the princesses but has outgrown them. Should we still book the Royal Table? It is open right now as we aren't going until end April.

Hi, Lisa! In your situation, I would probably skip Cinderella's Royal Table.  If your daughters aren't in the "princess mode," then I would pick another meal to spend my hard earned money to enjoy.  Let me suggest Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.  This is one of my family's absolute favorite meals at Walt Disney World.  It is a good fit for everyone (tomboys, little girls growing up quickly, and the adults)!  You can read more about it here.  If you decide to go, be sure to say "hello" to Claire de Lune, Johnny Ringo, Dolly Drew, Six Bits Slocum, Flora Long and Jim Handy for me! Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
