My girlfriend and I are planning a vaction next year and I would like to make it special and ask her to marry me. Is this anything I can do to add to the magic of asking her? How would I go about setting that up?

Hi, Joey!  This is so romantic!  People get engaged at Walt Disney World all the time, and the cast members there are always ready to help make this the most magical event of your lives together - well, until the big day!

There is an awesome blog post that you can read by visiting the Top 10 Proposal Ideas at Disney.  Some of my favorites are already there, including taking a ride in the Characters in Flight hot air balloon, as it floats above Downtown Disney and gives you an amazing view of the resort area.

I also think dropping to your knee on the beach at the Polynesian Resort during the Wishes fireworks from the Magic Kingdom is so beautiful.  There are also some restaurants at EPCOT - including La Hacienda and and the Rose and Crown - where you might get a table that allows you to watch Illuminations just before you pop the question.

If you are making dining reservations, you can ask them to note it on your reservation that you'll be proposing.  Make sure you tell them it's going to be a surprise for the Mrs. to be!

Wishing you a magical proposal that results in your happily ever after!
