    Is the gingerbread house still at the Grand Floridian?

    Hello Jacqueline, and welcome to planDisney.

    I just returned from a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, where I made sure to stop by Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to take a look at the spectacular gingerbread house!  The lobby smells heavenly with the scent of gingerbread.  I wasn't the only one who had the same idea -- quite a few other Guests were there to photograph this year's version with 50th Anniversary touches, and to buy gingerbread shingles and other goodies.  The grand Victorian Christmas tree was not yet in place but should be by early next week.  Don't miss additional gingerbread displays at other Disney Resort Hotels as well.  I also stopped by Disney's Contemporary Resort to view the gingerbread display there and brought home a kit to build a gingerbread model of the famous a-frame building as well.

    Keep in mind that parking at Disney Resort Hotels is reserved for those staying overnight and Guests with confirmed dining reservations or other reservations at that location.  I recommend traveling to the resorts using complimentary Disney resort transportation.
