We are gifting a trip to a family. What is the best way to manage this so they don't have to pay for anything?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Monica! I’m so happy to see you found us here at planDisney to ask the question about your amazing gift!

I would recommend that you reach out to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to assist you with this generous undertaking. Travel Agents do not cost you, you pay the same amount as if you booked a Walt Disney World vacation through the website. You do, however, gain their expertise and experience, as well as their suggestions. Plus, your planner can take all the payments from you.

An experienced travel agent can assist you with all aspects of planning a dream vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth. From little-known restaurants to PhotoPass tips and tricks, they know a LOT!

Should you decide that you’d like to plan the trip on your own, you can play around on the Walt Disney World website and figure out what the trip might cost. Then, you could purchase Disney Gift Cards in the amount of the vacation total and gift those to the family. Keep in mind that there is not a dining plan option at this time, so that cannot be added into a vacation package.

I hope this helps with coordinating your gift. Please come back to planDisney with other questions you might have as you continue to strategize.

    Happy Gifting,
    Tracy

Meet the Panelist: Tracy, Illinois

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
