Hey there, Crystal, and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you so much for coming to us with your question. I'm thrilled to hear that you're thinking about taking your little one to the Happiest Place on Earth! Although I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort regularly since my youth, I found it to be a different experience when taking my kids but just as fun. I loved seeing the Parks through their eyes and rediscovering the Magic that made my visits so enchanting.
What a wonderful gift to have received two
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets! Even though they are adult tickets for ages 10+, your little 7 year old may absolutely use an adult ticket for entry. Just know that you will not be refunded the difference between the cost of an adult versus a child ticket.
Don't forget that all visitors will need a valid ticket and reservation for entry into the Parks. Once you have selected your dates and linked the tickets to your
Disneyland account, head over to the
Tickets and Reservations page to secure your dates. Reservations are released on a rolling basis 120 days in advance. After that, remember to make any
dining reservations you may want up to 60 days before your visit!
During your visit, I would highly recommend spending some time in
Mickey's Toontown, which was just redesigned, and taking your little one to experience
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. It's a wonderful attraction for the whole family and it's become one of my favorites!
Crystal, I hope this was helpful for you and please feel free to come back and visit us again anytime if you have any further questions!
We'll See Ya Real Soon!
