Hello there, Alejandra!
Welcome to planDisney and an extra howdy to a fellow Magic Key Holder! How wonderful that someone gifted a three day ticket to you! That was such a generous gesture and I'm really happy for you.
As long as the ticket is wholly unused, it may be transferred to someone else and used prior to its expiration date. Just keep in mind that if it is a promotional ticket like the current
California Resident Ticket Offer, the recipient must also be a California Resident and will be required to show ID before activating the ticket. In order to transfer the ticket to someone else, have them open the
Disneyland Mobile App and press the "Tickets and Passes" button in the "☰" Features Menu. Press the "+" symbol to add a ticket and have them scan the unused ticket bar code to link it to their account. Also, per the Ticket
Terms and Conditions, keep in mind that the ticket cannot be sold.
If there are any blockout dates where you might want to visit the Parks, you could also consider holding on to the ticket for yourself. I know plenty of Magic Key Holders who do just that when they want to visit over a blockout period.
I certainly hope that you're enjoying that Magic Key Pass and returning to the Disneyland Resort whenever you can!
Fun Fact: back in the day, the price of admission to Disneyland Park got you a
Ticket Book that had a limited number of A through E Tickets, with the most limited being the high value "E" Tickets, hence the term "E-Ticket Ride."
Alejandra, I hope you found that useful and that you find a good home for that extra ticket! If you have any further questions for us, please do not hesitate to stop by again! We'd be happy to help.
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
