Hey there, Chuyen!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for coming to us with your question! Do you have an extra ticket that you won't be using to visit the Disneyland Resort? If you had to change your plans suddenly, I certainly hope that you'll be able to make it back at some point. The entire Resort is currently celebrating the
Halloween Season and it's my favorite time of year to visit.
According to the
Ticket Terms & Conditions, Disneyland Resort
Theme Park Tickets may not be sold and are nontransferable once used. So if the ticket in question has already been activated and partially used, then you would be unable to gift it to someone else. However, if a ticket has not yet been used and has not expired, you may indeed gift it to another recipient for them to use. The name attached to the ticket does not have to match the user. The only time they will ask for ID would be for special tickets like California Resident or
Military Salute Tickets. When a ticket is activated, Cast Members will take a photo of the guest to ensure that the same guest is using that ticket throughout its term.
In order to give someone your ticket, it would be easiest to just link the ticket to their Disneyland account. Have them open the
Disneyland Mobile App and select the "☰" Features Menu, then scroll down and click on "Link to Account."
Chuyen, I hope that this was helpful for you and that your ticket finds a good home. And I hope that you'll also be able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth at some point too! If there is anything else that we can do for you, please feel free to write back again anytime. You're always welcome at planDisney!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
