Hey there, Bruce! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with this great question.
Bruce, if you received an Exchange Certificate for your
Annual Pass or Military ticket, you can generally gift it to your children, with a few exceptions.
If you took advantage of a Florida resident or Military discount, then your children would need to be under the age of 18 in order to be able to use your Exchange Certificate. If your children are over the age of 18, you may still transfer your exchange certificate to them provided that they are also Florida residents, or qualify for the same Military discount.
Bruce, to use their exchange certificates, your children will want to create their own
My Disney Experience account and link the Exchange Certificate. This will allow them to go ahead and make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. To redeem a ticket, they will need to visit the
Ticket Center at Disney Springs or one of the ticket booths at any theme park entrance.
I hope that this helped, Bruce. Please come back here to planDisney if you think of any other questions.
We love to hEAR for you!
