Welcome aboard, Emma! You are so right! My kids love the
Youth Clubs aboard all four of Disney's pixie-dusted ships so much that there have been times we've had to beg them to leave to join us for another event! It certainly is a wonderful treat for the kids to enjoy activities and events with the awesome counselors and new friends each day!
If your children will be in the clubs for a good chunk of one day, (perhaps while you and your husband sneak off on a Port Adventure together!), both lunch and dinner are available in the clubs during certain hours. Check your Personal Navigator that day, or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, for exact dining times in the clubs. When you drop the kids off, let the counselors know they'll be having lunch or dinner there and when that time comes, they'll be given a choice of a few items and then get to eat with friends right there! My kids usually eat one meal in the clubs each time we sail, when my husband and I book a romantic dinner at
Palo, the Adult Exclusive restaurant onboard. The kids have always enjoyed getting to eat without mom and dad around, and found it pretty fun to have a kids-only dining experience!
A few activities in the clubs include a snack, like the cupcake decorating or the pizza making, so those are fun events for the kids and they get to eat too. What a bonus! Have so much fun on your sailing in just a few more weeks, Emma! Please stop back here with any other questions you might have before you set out to sea! We're happy to help!
