Ahoy, Ashley!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always love helping out a fellow Georgian, so I'm glad you reached out with your question. Can you believe you are only a week away from your week on the Disney Fantasy? I'm sure your bags are about packed, and you're ready to dive into your magical vacation with Captain Mickey!
Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with little ones very easy, which isn't always the case when you vacation with infants. Just let your stateroom host or hostess know if you need a diaper disposal unit, bottle warmer, bottle sterilizer and pack-n-play. There are some baby items for sale in the gift shops onboard, but I would plan to bring more than enough to cover your week at sea since the quantities are small, and the prices are a bit higher than what you find in your traditional store. I touched base with Disney Cruise Line about bringing formula off the ship and was told that it should not be a problem at all.
I hope you'll take advantage of "it's a small world" nursery! while onboard next week, Ashley. If you haven't made reservations yet, I suggest you stop by the first afternoon to explore the space with your little one. The amazing counselors will be on hand to answer any questions you have about spending time there. My son adored his nursery time on his very first Disney Cruise, and it gave my husband and me time to enjoy relaxing by the pool and a dinner at Palo!
Ashley, if your sailor is crawling, please sign him up for Jack-Jack's Incredible Diaper Dash! My crew always loves to attend this high-energy event where the "super" babies of the ship "compete" to see who is the fastest crawler onboard! The race takes place on a padded mat that spans 20-feet across the lobby atrium. If y'all participate, make sure to have someone record all the fun!
Bon voyage!
Nancy
