Hi there!! We are getting ready (and really excited) for our trip, but had one question. If my family wanted to come to our resort for breakfast (a birthday celebration) would they have to pay to park for the day? And can they ride the Disney boat/bus?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marcie! Thank you for bringing us your question! I'm so glad to hear that your family is super excited about your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! I would be too!

If your extended family is planning to visit you for an in-room celebration for a couple of hours or for a meal at your resort hotel, they may take advantage of complimentary standard self-parking up to three hours at your resort hotel. However, if they are planning on staying a bit longer, they might need to park their car at a theme park and then use Disney transportation to get to your resort hotel and then back to the theme park. Here is is a link where you will find more detailed information.

Marcie, I wish you and your family an unforgettable vacation.  Please keep coming back with more and more questions; we love to help!

    See ya real soon,

    ~Desiree

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
