We are getting ready to plan our trip to WDW in the summer of 2021, but we were concerned with the renovations at Epcot. Do you think all of the construction could make Epcot not worth going to at that time or will most of the renovations be done close to

Hi there, Nolan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Epcot is one of my absolute favorite parks, and I can not tell you how excited I am to experience all of the new exciting attractions and dine at the amazing new restaurants

Since renovations to the park are being done in phases, there will still be plenty for you and your family to enjoy while construction is on-going, however you will also be visiting when renovations have been underway for a while, so I would imagine that a good portion of the park will be completed.

Nolan, did you know that some of the announced updates to Epcot are already complete? Step aboard the new Disney Skyliner for quick park-hopping between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios and don't miss the all-new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along in Epcot's France pavilion!

Two of my new favorite Epcot additions, Space 220 and the Regal Eagle Smokehouse, are also scheduled to be completed very soon. While Regal Eagle Smokehouse will be a quick-casual restaurant and I would absolutely recommend a reservation at Space 220 as this will be an out-of-this-world dining experience with highly coveted reservations.

Updates to the France Pavilion should also be completed by your arrival date, including the addition of the new attraction Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and a new restaurant La Crêperie de Paris. I have heard amazing things from my friends who have been lucky enough to experience Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in Disneyland Paris, and I am sure that it will not disappoint!

Epcot's new nighttime show HarmonioUS is also expected to debut in the summer of 2020 and is set to be the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for any Disney Park!

Nolan, I am patiently awaiting any news of the new Mary Poppins attractions, and the little ones are so excited for Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana”. My best advice would be to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for Epcot related announcements. As any Epcot attractions get close to completion, they will be the first to announce it!

Did you know that 2021 is also the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort? While exact details of the celebrations have not yet been announced, I would be willing to be that there would be some very exciting events going on throughout the year!

I hope that this helped, Nolan and please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical vacation. We hope to see you real soon!
