    We are getting ready to go to WDW on Monday. Sav is having trouble linking up her Annual pass..I'm wondering if it's because I bought Nat and Sav's together on one order? Any ideas so they don't have to waste time at the gate

    Hi Mary and welcome to planDisney!

    How exciting that another magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is about to begin for you and your family! And Hakuna Matata, we will have you all on your way and straight into the parks when you arrive with a few simple steps.

    It sounds like the Annual Pass you purchased for Sav has not been assigned to her My Disney Experience account yet, which is an easy fix. So, let’s get started! You can follow these basic steps either on the Walt Disney World Resort website under the “My Disney Experience” tab or you can use the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device and I’ll do my best to walk you through both.

    First, confirm that you and Sav are connected as “Friends and Family” in your My Disney Experience. On the website, select “My Friends &Family” and scroll down to find Sav’s profile. If you aren’t connected, scroll down and select “Add a Guest” and follow the prompts. To do this in the app, find the menu button in the lower right corner (it is the three stacked lines on the bottom right of app) and scroll down to “My Profile” and then select “Family & Friends List” and follow the same process as on the website.  

    Just a reminder that Sav will need to confirm your invitation before she will appear on your list, so make sure to ask her to do this before proceeding. Now that you are connected, we can get that Annual Pass linked to Sav! 

    In your My Disney Experience on the website select “My Plans” and then scroll down to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.” Directly beneath the header on that page, you will see a rather small (don’t judge a link by its size though!) option to select, “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker.”  
    You will then see the Annual Passes you have purchased, including Sav’s pass. If the pass is not assigned to Sav, simply select “Reassign Ticket” and scroll through the drop-down list to select her name from your connected Friends & Family and then “Assign Ticket.”  
    Mary, in the app on your mobile device, this process is more straightforward. In the main menu, simply select “Tickets and Passes” and swipe right until you find the Annual Pass you would like to assign to Sav. Then select “Reassign Pass” and select Sav from your “Friends & Family” list. 

    Mary, we have one more step and that is for Sav to check her My Disney Experience to make sure that the Annual Pass is in her account now that you have assigned it to her. If for some reason it does not appear in her account, please let me know and we can try a few more tips. You can also seek assistance from a member of the V.I.PASSHOLDER Support team that works directly with Passholder troubleshooting.

    One final tip: don’t forget that you can order a MagicBand+ at a “Special Pre-Arrival Price” with your new Annual Pass. It is a pixie-dusted way to plus-up the magic!
