Getting ready for our first trip!We are getting the MYW plus Dining for free.I was wondering if at dinner we decided we wanted to order an appetizer or have a beer can you pay for those out of pocket or are we limited to entree, dessert &non-alcoholic

Hi Mary! How exciting that you were able to take advantage of the Free Dining promotion for your first trip to Walt Disney World! You're going to love the ease of using the Disney Dining Plan. When your server comes to greet you at your table, he or she will explain the items that are covered by your Dining Plan, but you're definitely not limited to ordering just those items. You can have an alcoholic beverage (except inside the Magic Kingdom park where alcohol is not served) or an appetizer. At the end of the meal, your server will bring you a bill so that you can pay for any items that aren't covered by the Dining Plan and so you can calculate the gratuity you wish to leave.

Have a magical first Disney vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions before your trip! We're happy to help!
