We are getting ready for our first trip to Disney World this month. I wanted to find out how we can get from Animal Kingdom to a 5:40 dinner @ Ohana. Also, I was hoping we could walk from Ohana to the beach to relax after dinner, will this be an option?

Hi Melissa! Thanks for writing the Moms Panel. The countdown is definitely on for your first Disney World vacation! Simply take a bus to the Polynesian Resort from the Animal Kingdom, Buses are all clearly marked. The bus ride itself takes about 20 minutes, but I am always cautious and allow an hour.

The beach at the Polynesian is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the Magic Kingdom fireworks. The music is piped in, so you get the full effeect. Ask any cast member and they'll point you in the right direction, which is a short stroll from where you'll be dining.

Write back with any other questions Melissa!
