Hi, getting ready for our first cruise, family of 8!! We are on an Eastern Caribbean cruise with stop in St John/St Thomas. I am wondering if anyone knows which port the ship stops in or if its not always the same, and if so how/when will we know?

    Ahoy, Kassandra!

Wow! Your crew is going to have an absolute blast on your first magical voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line! It's the perfect vacation for a large family like yours because there will be something for everyone! And there will be plenty to experience together, which is what sets a Disney Cruise apart in my opinion!

My last trip to the Caribbean was the Eastern itinerary, and we had an amazing time visiting these beautiful islands including St. Thomas. Did you know that they drive on the left side of the road in St. Thomas? That took some getting use to the first time we visited! The ship will dock in St. Thomas at the Havensight Pier, which is in Charlotte Amalie, the capital city. St. John is a smaller island that does not accommodate cruise ships, but Guests can experience this area by taking a ferry. We went to St. John on our first Eastern Caribbean Cruise, and it took about 45 minutes to cruise over. If you decide to venture to St. John, I highly recommend a Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure. Two that you may want to look into are the St. John Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel Tour or the St. John On Your Own

Kassandra, you have so much to look forward to on your sailing aboard the spectacular Disney Fantasy. We hope you'll continue to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with all your cruise questions.

    Have a magical day!
