Getting ready to book dining in Feb & noticing that the parks are closing"earlier". Is that set or are the hrs likely to change closer to the time? If the park closes at 8 and I make a reservation for 7:55, how much time will we have to eat?

Hey, Abbey! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. When looking over park hours, you will notice during some months that they do occasionally close earlier than other months. However, these hours are not always set in stone. I always watch the park hours closely in the weeks leading up to our trips because, in our experience, the park hours do frequently change from the times published initially. This usually happens more during some of the busiest times of the year, such as holidays and periods when schools are not in session. You may even want to look at the hours listed in the My Disney Experience app during your vacation, as I had an instance last summer where the park we were visiting the next day had their hours change just the night before!

Abbey, go ahead and make your Advance Dining Reservations for any available time you desire. You will not be rushed out of the restaurant, even if the park closes. This is actually a really good thing because then you will be able to stroll through a nearly empty park and take some unforgettable pictures with your family. If you arrived at the park via Disney transportation, there should still be transportation available to take you back to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. If you do start to make your Advance Dining Reservations and discover that there are no late times available, keep checking back, especially when you notice the park hours have changed. They usually will release later Advance Dining Reservations at dining locations within a park with extended hours.

I hope this helps you while planning your visit, Abbey. Please let us know if you need any further assistance. Have a magical day!
