Hello, I am getting married in March at WDW. On our wedding day we will spend it at the Magic Kingdom after the ceremony. Thursday the day after our wedding, would you go to Animal Kingdom or Epcot? Which park has the best photo pass opportunities? TY

Hey there, Kim! Thank you for coming to planDisney with your Walt Disney World question.

First off, CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming nuptials!

I would recommend making sure you have added Memory Maker onto your package. If you purchase this at least three days in advance of your arrival, you will save $30, and all your professional photos taken in the theme parks are included for you. Plus, there are thirteen attractions that have cameras inside them, so you would also have all those photos.

As far as some fun photo opportunities, I suggest booking a “Capture Your Moment” session at Magic Kingdom Park on your wedding day. This will include a 20-minute photo session with a PhotoPass photographer. Since you will have Memory Maker, all the photos taken in this session will be yours. These sessions cost $50 and are completely worth that. This is also an option at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, if you wanted to have photos from two separate parks.

We had some friends book two separate Capture Your Moment photos sessions for their graduating senior and his friends. They wound up with some absolutely gorgeous photos, and were very happy with the results.

Also be sure to get yourselves some bride and groom ears to celebrate the day. You can get “Happily Ever After” buttons at one of the retail locations on Main Street, USA as well.

I wish you a lifetime of happiness and a vacation full of memories in March!

    Happy Wedding,
    Tracy

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
